FALL FUN

So this Fall has been so full of fun things to do! Gentri threw a dinner party for some friends and it was so awesome! I made Butternut Sqaush Soup and she made chicken baked and wrapped in bacon and we had breadsticks and bubbly apple cider! It was great to get a good group of friends together and have fun! Then a couple weeks later we went on a triple date to go see the Thriller dance concert up at the University of Utah! Talk about fun! We went to the Pie before hand and got the hugest pizza ever! YUM!

Also we took a trip up to Gardner village and got to see all the fun Halloween Decorations up there! Its so neat! We also went and saw a live play of The Legend of Sleepy Hallowe! So much fun! It was in an outside amphitheater and the moon was almost full!

Then recently we went to Cornbellys Corn maze at Thanksgiving Point and got lost inside the giant David Archiletta corn maze, Did a haunted corn maze and played lots of fun games and a huge Pumpkin Tower! My bestest Brandy was able to join us on that trip cause she was in town for a wedding!
A few days later John took me to Nightmare on 13th! Which was pretty scary, (sorry for the bruising on your hands baby!) I held on so tight! But it was fun! We also had a great October Enrichment! We had a soup bar and made some super fun crafts and breads! So far this has been one of the best falls ever! And on top of all the fun activities it has been so amazing watch all the green leaves turn to bright yellow and then orange and finally red! I love FALL!

Blast From the Past!

So today while I was at work, a conversation was started about old school toys and cartoons, and soon after I started remembering all the toys that are locked up in my parents attic, and I must say, that compared to toys that you see in stores now, mine were 100% more fun and better made! lol so enjoy and let me know if you had any of the same toys, here are a few of my favorites!

1) Rainbow Brite

2) Rose Petal

3) She-Ra Princess of Power

4) Smooshies!

5) Bubble Belles

6) Care Bears/ Care Bear Cousins

7) Glow Friends

8) My Little Ponies

9) Wish World Kids

10) Keepers

11) Puppy Surprise

If you hadn't guess by now I was super spoiled as a child! But I loved all my toys! Yay for child hood remembrance!

Just when you think life is impossible!

I have learned an important principle tonight. If we are faithful to the Lord he will keep his promises and uphold his side of the bargain. I always thought that this was true but had never had a specific experience that made me really have a testimony of it.
I have recently made some very serious promises with the Lord and have had to be very patient in receiving answers to my prayers, but they have finally been answered and I just want to cry with happiness and relief! I am so grateful for the gospel, its influence in my life and my many good and bad experiences in Utah this year, it truly is where I was supposed to be.
