Half Moon Cay Bahamas - Day Seven

Oh my how time flies when you are havin' fun in the sun!
Today we are on the private island of Half Moon Cay. ITS GORGEOUS! AH! We went horseback riding by Land and by Sea this morning! SO FUN! My horses name was Speculation, and My moms' horses name was Pickle.. HAHA! They were both a little frisky, they wanted to go play in the water when they weren't supposed to but oh well they were pretty good for the most part. I was a little scared of riding them in the water so I just watched my mom, but I rode mine all along the beach! It was so fun, and so picturesque!
After Horseback riding, we just went up the beach and swam for a while, then went shopping and I got a super cute handmade straw beach bag. After that it was time for the Island Barbeque, Ribs, corn, potato salad, and fresh fruit! So good! After Lunch I got a bad case of the Itis (definition of Itis: sleepiness after consuming fried chicken, turkey, or ribs) , so of course I found the nearest hammock and took a nap! ahhh this is the life! Hope you all are having fun back west where its snowing while I was sleeping in my hammock! haha!
XOXOX

Speculation and Me riding on the beach!

After Horseback riding... Seriously look at that water! LOVE IT!

BYAHHHH!!!!!

Day Five - St. Thomas U.S.V.I.

DAY FIVE! Holy cow has it really been five days? I don't even know what day of the week it is? Island time must be catching on to me... I swear! My days go so slow, but are so full of things to do!
Today we are on the Beautiful Island of St Thomas. It is part of the U.S. Virgin Islands! Sooo... YAY MORE PHONE COVERAGE! haha! This morning we went Sailboat Racing. Can I say Intense? We were divided up in to two teams of six and then taught how to race half a million doller sailboats, and then we raced for another hour! WAHOO!!!!!! So intense, a little scary, but a ton of fun! I even got to drive the boat for a little while. Unfortunately my team didn't win, but we still had a blast! The Breeze was steady so it made for awesome sailing! I definitely want to go again if I ever get the chance! After the Ocean Race, we went shopping around the port, we were in Charolette Amalia, then headed back onboard for lunch, and naps in the sun. What an awesome day!
XOXOX

Sitting on the High side to try and gain more speed! Can you say Adrenaline Rush?

I was in charge of tacking the sails, basically pulling them in and letting them out so the breeze would steer the boat...

We were sailing at a 45 degree angle... the water was really close to me, even though it doesn't look it.

Time to switch directions...

San Juan Puerto Rico! - Day 4

YAY! Finally we made it to Puerto Rico! Quick get that cell phone out! haha! I hate not having my phone... I feel lost without it... sad I know I know! But I seriously was so excited to be somewhere where I could use my phone again. Anyway.
We woke up... didn't go to the gym! AH! no bueno! and then ate breakfast... After breakfast we walked around the promenade deck. It goes around the entire ship and is open air... can I count that as my work out? We were pulling into port when we were walking so that was fun to see Puerto Rico come into sight! It was super windy though as you can see in the pictures...
After our walk, we had a cooking class with the Head Chef from the best restaurant onboard, the Tamarind. Its a Thai asian fusion restaurant and they have the best coconut curry chicken ever! And Ribs that were to DIE FOR! I might even post the recipes... if your lucky!
After Cooking Class we were cleared to head ashore to Explore Beautiful San Juan. Our plans got changed around a little so my mom and I decided to just wing it and walk around the city. We explored one of the many forts, walked around the outside of the huge old 16th century Sea wall, stumbled upon the film set for a Johnny Depp movie, and then went SHOPPING! YAY! haha! After shopping we got back on board to have dinner on the ship at the Pinnacle Grill. YUM! they had a great filet mignon, and to chocolate molten lava cake... ummm oink oink I was so happy! FAT KID! haha!
After Dinner, my mom decided to go up to the library and read, I got her started reading the Host and she couldn't put it down, and I went back to San Juan to hook up with my Friend Jaisy who lives there! We went around for a little bit and then went to her play rehearsal. She is producing her first play! YAY! It was so good to see her! Puerto Rico was definitely my Favorite Island! IT WAS GORGEOUS! If you ever get the chance to go definitely take it!
XOXO

I was a little HYPER!

Easter Sunday - Day 2 & Grand Turks and Caicos Islands - Day 3!

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Thats what our cruise director wakes everyone up with over the ship-wide loud speakers... its kinda annoying... hahah! oh well. This morning my Mom and I woke up and... WENT TO THE GYM! I know right? well its only the second day so we will see how long that lasts. After the Gym we went and got breakfast on the Lido Deck. Then we decided to Explore the Ship some more. Sunday the 12 was a Sea day so we are just on our way to Grand Turks... It was a formal night for Dining in the Rembrandt Dining room so we got all dressed up. It was a pretty chill day. The Ocean was pretty calm which made for good sailing! Here are Pics from Day 2:
Formal Dinner... Check out the size of those chocolate Easter Bunnies!

Our Dessert was a White Chocolate Egg Shell filled with Strawberry Mousse, ummm YUM!

Day Three we arrived at Grand Turks and Caicos.... uh can I say Tourist Trap. This island was kind of a disappointment. All we really did was walk along the beach pictured below. There were a few good shops, RON JON, and then got back on board and took advantage of everyone being off the ship to go swimming and eat lots of food! haha! another pretty chill day. We set sail at 5pm for Puerto Rico Tomorrow! YAY!

The Cruise Day 1

So I finally am getting a chance to Post about my Cruise! YAY!

The First Day was awesome, We had our good friends the Mantors drive us down to Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. Then we had to go through all the boarding process YAWN! But then we finally got onboard! YAY! We were Cruising onboard the Holland American Eurodam. It was the largest ship in their fleet with over 3,000 passangers! Holy cow was it a little crowded? Yes.... but it was still way fun! The ship overall was definately Asian themed so that was fun. Lots of Asian artwork and stuff. There were 12 decks or floors on the ship. SO FUN! So anyway once we got onboard we ate lunch at the Lido Deck and walked around and explored the ship.
Then at 4 we had our Lifeboat Drill. We were at Lifeboat station #8... They weren't too happy with me cause I just got a new phone and was trying to set up my voicemail... anywho apparently you are supposed to pay attention to Life Boat drills... I dunno why.... haha! But they weren't happy I was on my phone the whole time... all I can say is good thing we didn't sink cause I wouldn't of known what to do. oh well! Then after that we went to the spa and got facials! Way to start off with relaxation right? And then we went to dinner and explored some more! What a great first day! Here are some pictures!
XOXOX

This was in the center of the ship at the main stairwell.. we weren't sure what it was but it changed colors and was pretty....

Conference Weekend!

Man I am on a roll with posting! GO MEEE!!!
So this last weekend, John and I went down to Salt Lake City. We attended his missions reunion on Friday nights, and then went to the Conference Dance at the Sandy South Towne Expo Center. It was a lot of fun, but really crowded!
Then Saturday we just lazed around and watched conference during the day. Then we went to, of course, CAFE RIO! YUM YUM YUM YUM! My tummy was in HEAVEN!!!!!!

Sunday Morning my roommate Kelsey got us tickets to the General Conference session. It was of course amazing. I love conference so much and I always learn so much when I go. It's so fun to be in the conference center and see all the people and be in the presence of the Prophet! SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it! After the morning session, we walked around Temple Square and took some cute pictures! So here are some of the good ones! Hope everyone else enjoyed their conference weekend as much as I did!

ApRiL fOoLs!

Today is APRIL FOOLS DAY!
YAY! For fun nonsense holidays! As I was walking to one of my classes today I noticed a sign that said free M Yay&Ms... and I'm not one to pass up free choco
late however cheap it may be... so I walk into this office and
there is a box with M&Ms written all over it and so I open it and a RAT JUMPES out at me... needless to say I screamed very loud and the secretary in th
e office was rolling on the floor laughing at me.... I swear my brown hair isn't helping my intellect and more than my blonde was.... But the secretary did actually end up giving me some candy so that was cool.... anyway that was my prank I  got today.  Today was also my roommate birthday! I made her a sign in our living room, and also a chocolate cake. We went Kaitlans to Red Robin with the whole apartmen
