I feel like it is a tad bit cheesy to put this up, but hey maybe some people will enjoy the read.
I met my husband about 8 years ago when I was just a little freshman in college, and by little I mean I was 17! We had a long road of dating, it definitely had it's ups and downs, we dated in 5 different states while we were moving in and out of college and different jobs. Note: This is not the most recommended path, (we did long distance for about 3/4 of our entire time dating) but it really did help us get to know and understand each other in so many different situations before we got engaged. I can't even tell you how prepared I felt for marriage because we dated so long.
My Honey surpirsed me one night after work, he was supposed to be in UT at a wedding and when I got home, boom, flowers and candles and a diamond ring.
We have been happily married for 2 years and are taking life one adventure at a time. Patience is a virtue and a super important one when it comes to selecting an eternal companion. Take it from me, the wait is usually worth it.
Because if you want a lasting marriage don't look for someone perfect, look for someone to become perfect with!

"In all of this, we should realize that a good marriage does not require a perfect man or a perfect woman. It only requires a man and a woman committed to strive together toward perfection."
