Wilderness Retreat

So my 7 weeks started out with a trip up to my friend Gentris Cabin. It was such a relaxing weekend and so nice to be done with school for a bit. Her Cabin is all the way up in the very top of the mountains so the view is AMAZING! Here are some pics from the weekend!!

Hawaiian Luau - Closing Social

For our closing social we had a great Luau! It was so fun! We had the Polynesian Cultural Society come and perform for us and we had The Pineapple Grill cater it for us! YUM! Pork, rice and salad and macaroni salad! Here are a few pictures from it!

Gossip Girl

Let me just say that I don't watch a lot of TV. However I do have my favorite shows. My very favorite show to watch on TV right now is definitely Gossip Girl. It has everything I love, great fashion, hot boys, New York City, and a good scandal! My favorite actress on the show plays the incredibly fashionable, super schemer Blair Waldorf. On the show Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick) have an on again off again romance that is by far one of my favorite love stories. I am such a hopeless romantic! I was so excited to learn that the couple who just finally admitted they love you to each other is going to stay together in the third season.  The show just finished its second season on the CW. The third has already started filming and the first episode airs early September. If you haven't seen the first two I highly recommend you netflix it! Its amazing and one of my guilty pleasures in life.

My Confectionary Final

So today I had my Confectionary Final, this has been my favorite class and it has been so much fun and interesting to learn the art of candy making! Here are my favorites as well as my own final(mine is the last one) Check out my Final project and let me know what you think! Everything is 100& edible except for the plate and the little monkey!

HARRY POTTER!

So I was lucky enough to go with two of my best friends to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! AT MIDNIGHT! this means that i've seen every single Harry Potter movie at midnight haha.... I'm such a nerd! But it was soooo good! Here is a picture of Brianna, Tyler, and me at the midnight show! If you haven't seen it yet go! Its awesome!

FAME!!!!!!

I am SOOO excited for this movie! I did a dance to the song FAME when I was little and being that I absolutely loved it and love this movie, and love dance! I can't wait for the revamp! Check out the trailer it looks amazing!!

Bowling Beauties

Something I love and hate about Rexburg is that their are only a hand full of things to do on the weekend! One of the options is bowling which is what we did over this past weekend. Always a fun time to go at night when its  Cosmic Bowling!

P.s. despite the fact that I took bowling class at school twice, I still suck. My high score was like 84 :( ug! oh well it was still a blast!!

Happy 4th of JULY!

YAY! I can't believe what an amazing weekend I had! I left Friday afternoon at 3pm to fly into Washington Dulles airport where the love of my life greeted me!!! I seriously Love John so much! He is so kind to me and loves me so much too! He is the perfect man in my opinion! It was so good to see him even if it was only 38 hours. Saturday was fun, we hung out with his parents in the AM and then went for a fun drive and out to lunch at one of my favorite places in Vienna; The Italian Gourmet! They have delicious sandwiches! John was ever the gentlemen opening all my doors and paying for me! Ah I miss having a boyfriend around to treat me right! Thank goodness summer is almost over and me without John with it! Saturday afternoon we just kind of lazed around and enjoyed being able to spend time with each other, watched some TV (he watched Harry Potter with me it must be true love!) and just hung out talking. It was the best. I could seriously just sit around and talk to him forever! 

As it got later John took me out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, it was delicious! He got a steak and I got ribs! YUMMY! Love the rolls too! After dinner we headed down to Fairfax to pick out a spot to watch the Fairfax county fireworks. Originally we planned to go into Washington DC but we figured since we only had limited time together waiting 2 hours for a metro wasn't worth it. Our spot was perfect though! We sat in the median of the street right across from the stadium! It was so fun and relaxing to just hangout with John again. Afterwards we went back to his apartment and he made us really delish peanut butter hot fudge ice cream sundays! My favorite! I swear he is honestly so perfect!!!!
