First Camping Trip of the Year

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! I hope everyones weekend was as fantastic as mine was! SO the lame-o school of BYU-I decided to actually do something right and give us monday and tuesday off this week!!!!!! WAHOO a four day weekend? To good to be true! I totally took full advantage of the opportunity to kick summer of right and PARTY!!!!!
Friday was an afternoon at the sandbar, and just fun times chillin with all of my besties. Then Friday night, my roommate Allie was babysitting for these people with the sickest house i've ever seen! Seriously huge! We got to go play around in it (there were slides and tree houses inside the house) followed up by a little movie action in their insane movie theater room!
Saturday I slept in cause I didn't make it home from the Mansion till like 4:30 in the AM! Then woke up and did a little homiework, after which I went to an afternoon of amazing shopping with my Bestie Kaitlan! She is so awesome and the funnest married friend! She still likes to hang out its bomb! I got some great stuff while I was shopping it was so relaxing. Then Saturday night, I went with Kaitlan her husband John, and some of our other friends to Lava Hot Springs! So cool. Open air hot springs of varying temperatures! It was a blast! I was so relaxed afterwards though that I totally passed out on the ride home!
Sunday was a definite day of rest and relaxation, Sunday night Bri and I left to go Camping in Swan Valley! That was so much fun, it only rained for like an hour and we got warm and toasty by the fire afterwards! Bri and I felt so accomplished because we totally made these scrumptous potatoes over the campfire! We brought a pot and boiled them and seasoned them! It was so BOMB! After a long night of scary stories and roasted Starbursts (YUMMY!!!) we finally went to bed.
Now ok let me have you visualize our tent.
It was a 2 and 1/2 man tent( what ever that means??)
It was set up on a hill, and there were lots of lumps of grass and dirt on that hill.
Ok so tent fabric is like a slidy material right? and so are sleeping bags. so when u slide them along each other on a hill.... yes thats right u fall down and get cramped at the bottom! haha needless to say, I slept like a rock, but felt like i'd been hit by a big yellow school bus the next morning! OUCH!
After we woke up we made some breakfast (poptarts, donuts, bananas, apples) and packed camp up. Then we took a mile long hike up the mountain! It was so beautiful! we followed a stream the whole time it was GORGEOUS! I love being outside and having so much fun with friends!
After that we headed back to good old Rexburg to de-stinkify our selves from camping and then finished up a fabulous memorial day in Blackfoot at Briannas parents house. We went down for a BBQ and some four-wheeling! Talk BOUT FUN TIMES!!!!!!! I love Summer in Idaho! So enjoy my pictures and be jealous cause I'm pretty sure I had the best memorial day ever!

XOXO

Boise road trip!

HEYYYOOOO!!!! I finally got some picture from mine and my great friend Briannas road trip to Boise, ID. It was so much fun. We went to Boise to be at our darling friend Kaycee Markus's wedding. Well I guess she isn't a Markus anymore she is a Boring... I mean Borin haha! JK Kaycee! Brianna and I had such a fun drive. The weather was fantastic the whole way there and back! On the way back we stopped in Twin Falls and got to see the new temple there as well as Shoshone Falls, which is at the highest it has been in the last 5 years! It was so beautiful and I loved Boise. Friday night we got into town and then promptly hit the town. We got all dolled up and went to the clubs in Downtown Boise. We partied hard Kaycee's last night of being single! WAHOO! We were out at the clubs till 3 am, and then Kaycee took us to her and Carstons house which she has diligently been decorating! It was so beautiful! She is a lucky lucky girl!
After a full night of PARTYING! We all had to wake up to get ready for the wedding! It was so fun to help around the house and help get Kaycee ready for her wedding! She was a beautiful bride! And in true Kaycee fashion she was swearing the whole day! haha. We took tons of pictures at the temple and then they wanted to go to this old train depot in Boise for more picture but we were all so starved, that a few of the bridesmaids and besties made a pit stop at McDonalds along the way! HAHA! So classic all of us sitting on the steps chowing down on some fries and Diet Coke in our formal wedding outfits! After a long long day of pictures we were starving again, so we went with the bride and all of us still in wedding clothes to Los Betos! YUMMY greasy mexican food! haha. After that we went home and chilled in PJs and got some more stuff ready for the reception and then it was party time again! haha, while Kaycee was stuck in a line shaking hands, amy and I and two of Carstons groomsmen, Dusty and Logan(HAHAH) went and trashed their car! SO FUN!
After a long day of wedding fun Bri, Amy, Dusty, Logan, and I all went to Applebees, for some good food and lots of laughs and sports! The next day Brianna and I drove back to Rexburg! Here are some fun pictures from the weekend!

XOXO

FOXY

So I Felt like today should be a PINK writing day! I am back at school in Rexburg for Summer semester and its going pretty good so far! School is a lot to keep up with. I have so much busy work for all my classes! Its insane but its a good kind of insanity because its keeping me super busy and not focused on the fact that John is away in VA doing summer sales.... sniff.... sniff... OK! no more crying! I am a tough woman!..... no I'm not I MISS HIM!!!!MOVING ON!
I have a class with some of my great friends from last semester and I'm making a lot of new friends too so its been a fun semester so far. The dean of the communications department has us throw raw eggs off the balcony in the Spori building the other day and it was awesome. Her class is always fun! ALSO I'm taking a confectionary class right now for my Culinary Arts Cluster so I'm going to start a little recipe section for the type of candy I am going to be making each week! I'm so proud of myself for being so domestic!! seriously, I used to never cook or anything and now I love it!
I'm also taking a Family History class right now! HOLY COW its so amazing! I love doing family history, which probably makes me a huge nerd, but its like once I start working on it I sit there for hours and just look through tons of info and I have to force myself to stop! Its amazing and I have found lots of cool stuff so far! Its such a blessing too and I really love getting to know my ancestors, since I'm like stuck with them forever! HAHA!
Lets see what else is new?! AH! yes how could I forget, While I was in Boise this last weekend at my darling friend KAYCEE's wedding, my roommate brought home a tiny little Chihuahua! SO CUTE! We have chosen to name her Foxy Cleopatra... hahaha she is so sassy but really chill. She just loves to be held all the time. We can't keep her at the apartment but she is a little bundle of joy for right now. I think she is going to live with our other roommate Allies mom. I will post a picture below! And I will have to have a whole seperate post just to cover Kaycee's wedding. It was a blast though! Hmmm..... any other news from the Sexy town of Rexi? None for right now.... Guess I will post a picture of FC and then its off to do more homework!

XOXO
