The most amazing Waffles EVER.

Hello dear friends!
I have been absent once again. Life is just so busy and wonderful! A quick update and then on to the waffles. John is playing Ice Hockey this semester WOOT! Carlos is hyper and playful and oh so funny. I'm working at ARTCO as a bridal consultant. John signed on with Pinnacle (I know I know.. ew) BUT they are taking us to Las Vegas ( woot! ). We leave for the Vegas on the 18th and stay for the whole weekend. While we are there John has to work and I'm going to work on my tan by the pool and enjoy weather that has a + as opposed to a - .
AND>>>> we are eating at... wait for it..... wait for it.... MESA GRILL! The one and only BOBBY FLAYS restaurant at Caesars Palace.
BBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!
Bobby flay is only the most amazing Iron chef ever! and I get to eat his food! BAH! I think I might die of happiness! When we called to make the reservation we seriously got the last one for the whole weekend. *faints*

Anyway on to the waffles. These are no surprise a bobby flay recipe, but I swear I'm not super biased on these. When I went to London with my family we had the most delish waffles in Covent Garden. D E L I S H! so I had been keeping my eye out for a recipe that would somehow give reason to why these waffles were so good compared to regular belgium waffles. They are much more dense and sweeter and are doughy and moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Finally one night as I was flipping through the channels Bobby happened to be doing a Throwdown with a waffle cart chef in NYC. This guy in NYC was making these waffles I'd had in London. BAH! PERFECTION! I found the name and after 2 years of hunting I have found the recipe.

Ladies and gents, I give you Leige Waffles. Only the single most delicious breakfast food known to man, woman, and anyone with taste buds. Your welcome.

XOXO

Yummy! I'm so glad you'll get some sun and some warmth!! Much needed I'm sure. :) There was a recipe on a utah show I love to watch. It was a cakebatter pancake with melted frosting and sprinkles... Ya. More like dessert. But, I'm treating myself and trying it for Valentines! I'll let you know how it is and if it's a MUST! haha!
