Spring Time Gardening

Spring is in the Air, and Summer is almost here! My mom and I are busily trying to decide how we are going to redo our Backyard! It has been lacking some stellar landscaping since 2007 when the Hurricanes tore everything out! We have been pouring over gardening magazines and online sites reading about trees, flowers and herbs to plant! We have come up with some good ideas of what we want! We are going to rip out the concrete pad in the back and add a small wooden deck, Have some strategically placed Pergolas around the yard, a nice water accent, possibly a gazebo and definitely a hammock! We want to have a herb garden and a regular garden, fresh basil, lettuce, carrots, green peppers, rosemary, and tomatoes! We think we might even try and grow a small pumpkin patch!!! Here are some of the plants/trees/flowers we are thinking of putting in! Let me know what you think!

I Love the rain so much... there is something that is super refreshing and just so amazing about listening to the rain!! I am so lucky to live in a place that gets so much rain!!

Graduation Day

April 9th and 10th were my wonderful graduation days! I walked in Convocation at 7pm on April 9th and then had my Commencement at 9 am on the 10th. I loved every second of graduation. Before Convocation my parents, John and I all went to Dinner at Stockman's Steakhouse... YUM! I love their food its sooo good! Then afterwards we went to G's Dairy, another of my favorites, Gorilla Munch how will miss theee!!!! Saturday was so busy cause I still had some last minute packing to do. Everything turned out great though and we even had nice enough weather to go on a picnic with My Bestie Brianna's family :)

Festival of Colors

Spring is HERE! YYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today Bri and I made a super quick trip to Spanish Fork and attended the Hindu Festival of Colors at the Hindu temple there. It was unbelievable and amazing and so fun! Basically the Hindu religion celebrates the start of spring with a holiday called Holi celebration. Everyone gets powdered chalks and throws them up in the air and on each other. I've never had such a fun welcoming to spring! Super fun, super colorful! haha! Enjoy the pictures!

So last weekend Bri and I being the crazy gals that we are decided to hit the road and live it up one last time and go to LAS VEGAS!!!!!!! Best decision ever! It was so much fun and I loved seeing all the city lights. IT WAS GORGEOUS! Sin city or not I love Las Vegas! All of the hotels were exquisite! I loved the Venetian, the Paris, Caesars Palace was amazing! Oh I just loved it all! Best trip of the year not counting my sis's wedding!
